CITB NI Careers Event

Our Peter Kerr and Harry McFarland, along with Nicola McCracken and Amanda Stevenson, attended Saintfield High School this morning for CITB NI Careers Event to encourage young people into our industry.

Students were provided with an introduction to civil engineering and advice on how to get into the industry, and had the opportunity to try out some survey equipment and some virtual reality 4D site visits.

It was familiar territory for Harry as he is a former head boy of Saintfield High School. Harry is a fantastic advocate for civil engineering apprenticeships, as he is currently excelling both academically and practically in his own apprenticeship with DAWSON WAM. Harry is an integral part of the team helping deliver Whitehouse Sludge Tank Replacement and Access Road in Newtownabby for Northern Ireland Water
