Mill Road West CSO construction progress on our project for Northern Ireland Water.
Bulk excavation is now complete, with c.4,000m³ excavated within the secant piled cofferdam to formation level. The project has now transitioned into permanent works, including the successful placement of approximately 550m³ of concrete to form the base slab.
A key aspect of reaching this stage has been the close collaboration between the civils and piling teams. From early planning through to delivery, the integration of temporary and permanent works has been critical to ensure the structure performs effectively during excavation and as part of the finished asset.
The result is a solution that not only enabled safe and efficient excavation, but also forms part of the long-term structural system.
Great effort from all involved in delivering this milestone safely and to programme.
