We’re delighted to announce that DAWSON WAM has been shortlisted for the 2026 Construction Employers Federation (CEF) NI Construction Awards in the Infrastructure Project of the Year category!
Our shortlisted project, Knockbracken CSO and Storm Storage, delivered on behalf of Northern Ireland Water, showcases how collaboration, innovation and engineering expertise can overcome some of the most challenging site constraints.
Working on a floodplain alongside the Carryduff River and within metres of the critical Mourne Conduit, our team developed innovative solutions including vibration-free secant piling, a temporary bridge constructed using our in-house steelwork, and a first-of-its-kind storm storage design. The project not only improved flood resilience and protected the local environment but was also delivered safely, sustainably and within programme and budget.
