Construction Belfast's Wastewater Treatment Works in 1990s

DAWSON-WAM is proud to share archive footage from the early 1990s documenting our role as principal contractor on the Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works project.

The videos provide a fascinating insight into the scale and complexity of the works undertaken at the time, showcasing key stages of construction including piling, groundworks, temporary works, tunnelling, reinforced concrete structures and associated building works.

These projects reflect the engineering expertise, technical capability and collaborative approach that have been at the heart of DAWSON-WAM for decades. While construction methods and technologies continue to evolve, the commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure safely and efficiently remains unchanged.

This archive footage offers both a snapshot of a significant infrastructure project and a reminder of the strong foundations upon which DAWSON-WAM continues to build today.
