Silent and Vibrationless Sheet Piling

DAWSON-WAM operate a Giken silent piler which is a means of installing steel sheet piles in a silent and vibration-free manner. The equipment operates on the press-in principle which utilises reaction force derived from fully installed sheet piles as a counter weight to hydraulically press-in subsequent piles. There are a number of major advantageous in that the piler 'walks' along the top of the installed sheet piles and is therefore an ideal solution in areas of limited access.

We also operate a rig mounted press system to install sheet piles silently and vibration free. This acts like the Giken system however has the added benefit of using the downward (crowd) force exerted by the rig.
