Here are some of photos of our complex secant piled retaining wall being installed in Central London for Galliford Try. Secant piles are now complete and have been installed in close proximity to neighbouring properties on two elevations and a retained façade elsewhere on the boundary. Piles were installed from the existing basement level, some 3.5m below ground level, with access via a 4m by 3.5m hole in the façade for small tools and materials, with no access for vehicles due to the ramp being removed for secant wall works. Our works are now concentrating on buttress piling and rebuilding the ramp to remove the rig and associated equipment.
We would like to thank our client Galliford Try and our fellow subcontractor O'Halloran & O'Brien for the successful collaboration in progressing the works to date.
