Undergraduate Placement Year
We offer a one year undergraduate placement scheme in co-operation with local universities operating relevant sandwich degree courses. While on industrial placement with DAWSON-WAM all undergraduates will receive both formal and in house training as part of their career development.

The Role
- We offer students from relevant disciplines the opportunity to gain valuable work experience throughout the placement.
- Students work across the UK and gain both on-site and office experience.
- Students are assigned a mentor who ensures the placement experience is maximised.
- All our students have a personal development plan with both in-house and external learning and development opportunities aimed at providing a greater insight into roles within the industry.
Essential Skills
- Currently studying a third level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Abiltiy to successfully implement, maintain and ensure compliance of Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
